The Minister of Education will release dates for 2027. Watch the news and social media for the dates.
A SIBLING SURVEY for 2027 for Grade 1 to 6 learners was handed out on 26 February 2026. If you have a child/account currently at Glenanda Primary Primary, complete the reply slip by 17 March and submit to the Admissions Officer. (This is not for relatives/cousins). Current Grade 7 learners cannot be referred to as a Sibling Applicant, as they will move on to high-school in 2027.
The above forms are NOT APPLICATION FORMS; Responses will be sourced from the reply slips returned to school in order to assemble a database of contact details in order to keep parents informed of application updates for 2027.
The onus is on parents to apply for children who are eligible for Grade 1 and Grade 8, 2027.
This information is pertinent to all applications.
Verification of addresses provided during the application period is carried out by the Admissions' Officer.
Do not jeopardise your child's application by provided incorrect address information.

Office hours for submission of documents: Monday-Thursday 08:00- 13:30 and Friday 08:00-13:00.
APPLICATIONS FOR:
All grades run at capacity at Glenanda Primary School.
When your application is received, you will receive a confirmation email from the admissions officer confirming receipt of your application and confirming your reference number according to date and time received.
There is no guarantee that your application will be accepted.T
We encourage you to apply at further schools that comply with the criteria for placement ie: Home Address closest to the school, to avoid disappointment.
PLACEMENT of the waiting lists may take up to the 10th schooling day of 2027 to finalise.

NB: Criteria for placement accross all grades, is in line with the Grade 1 placement requirements.

To check which schools are within the criteria of 'Home Address, closest to the school', go to www.gdeadmissions.gov.za and fill out your physical address on the website. The site geopopulates the schools that are within the criteria for placement of your home address. (From the opening of the application process)
